Description

The Economic Council of Palm Beach County represents the county's top business and thought leaders, bringing together leaders from across industries to advance public policy that supports a strong, thriving business community. Since our founding in 1975, the Council has played an instrumental role in the creation and growth of many of the organizations that have helped shape Palm Beach County into one of the nation's most dynamic regions.

Every few years, we visit peer communities facing challenges and opportunities similar to our own to study innovative ideas, exchange best practices, and identify solutions that can be adapted and implemented back home. Previous leadership missions have taken us to the Research Triangle in North Carolina, Denver, Charlotte, Nashville, and Dallas, where we've gained valuable insights that have helped inform our work and support Palm Beach County's continued growth and success.

This year, we are excited to visit Phoenix from October 26–28, 2026, to explore how one of the nation's fastest-growing regions is leveraging innovation and technology to address challenges in education, healthcare, housing, and transportation. Through meetings with local leaders, we hope to identify ideas and best practices that can help shape the future of Palm Beach County.
